Yes this is possible! We have kept enough clearances so that the Braai can be taken apart effortlessly after years of use, both without and with rust. Handy if you want to transport the Braai or store it in the shed.

ALWAYS use gloves when handling STOKED items. Our original GLOVES are suitable for this. At the BRAW PREMIUM these gloves are included for free.

Read the supplied safety instructions before use and keep them well.

• Degrease the Corten steel with a good, degreasing cleaning agent, which removes the wax layer on the Corten steel product.

• In the next step you take three large tablespoons of salt and dissolve it in ten liters of water. Be sure to use a clean bucket or container that will allow you to easily transfer the saline solution to a watering can.

• Use the watering can to pour the salt water generously over the Corten steel.

• The rusty, orange color will appear within a few days and greatly speed up the rusting process. 

• You can also use vinegar instead of salt.

Yes, when using the right fuel and lighting method there is little to no smoke development. This way your neighbours are not bothered by smoke while you are enjoying a fire or barbecue.

Only use well-dried wood, kindling wool (not cubes) and use the Swiss lighting method.

Lighting the coals

Use good quality charcoal, preferably larger pieces and light with a firestarter.

Place a thin layer of coals/a few thick coals (very thin/few) on the coal plate in the Mini. Place a few kindling wool between the coals and light. Do not place the grid and plancha on the mini yet for extra pull. The mini is often warm enough to grill after 10 minutes.

If the coals are removed from the Mini, it will take about 10 minutes for it to be cold enough to pick up (check this carefully). This means you can continue your journey within 10 minutes.

Our editions and bundles are pre-packaged and in stock as fixed combinations. This means it takes less time to prepare them for shipping than when a Braai is assembled entirely from individual options. This advantage is reflected in the price.
